William James Brown, Jr.

William J Brown Jr. passed away at the age of 83, on January 28, 2021 after a brief illness. 

He was the husband of Bette Jean (Murray) Brown.  Born in Leicester, MA on January 24, 1938 and was the son of the late William and Villa Brown of Plymouth, Ma, the brother of George Brown of Dedham and sister Cynthia Falconeiri of Middleboro.

He was a Navy Veteran who served on the USS Lake Champlain CV-39 from 1955-1957 (during the Korean War).

William "Bill" married Bette on March 22, 1965 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island and then resided in Middleboro with their children.  Bill was a Cub Scout and Boy Scout Master for several years.  He worked as a truck driver until his retirement and was a member of the Teamsters 653.

He enjoyed family time, gardening, road trips to Maine, camping, stock car racing, playing pool, attending church and his cat Tilly.

William is survived by his children Lisa Perry and her husband Michael Perry of Middleboro, Michael Brown of Taunton, Kevin Brown, Richard "Ricky" Brown (deceased), David Therrien of Lakeville, Penny Therrien of Washington, Daniel Therrien and wife Sandra of Middleboro.

He also leaves behind seven grandchildren;  Jessica Pavao, Michaela Brown, Kendra Perry, Neil Perry, Alexis Brown, Jamie Brown and Danielle Therrien

Visitation on February 13, 2021 (Saturday) from 10 until 11 AM in the O'Neill Funeral Home, 59 Peirce Street (corner of School Street) Middleboro. 

Funeral services and interment private.
