Timothy Arthur Arruda of Saint Petersburg, Florida and formerly of New Bedford died unexpectedly on November 14, 2017.  He was 49 years old. 

Tim was born on April 6, 1968 in New Bedford, the cherished son of Arthur and Margaretha A. (Commandeur) Arruda.  He was a graduate of New Bedford High School, Class of 1986. 

Beloved father of Deirdre and Margo Arruda.  Adored brother of Gary M. Arruda, Anne-Marie Alfonse, Pamela L. Arruda and Tanya Dickson.  Loving uncle of Carla, Corey, Luke, Greta, Chase and Connor. Also survived by his great-niece, Layla. Also survived by his love, Audrey.  He will be remembered for his boisterous laughter, his infectious smile, and his dapper style. He brought light and kindness to everyone he met.

In accordance with Tim's wishes, funeral services will be private.
