Theresa Cummings Obituary
Theresa B. Dould Cummings, 67, of Dennis, MA, passed away peacefully in her sleep on the very early morning of October 30, 2024, after a long-term battle with chronic progressive multiple sclerosis.
Our mother was the epitome of Resilience. Her will to live was fueled by curiosity and her vivacious spirit. Our mother was worldly, adventurous, wildly intelligent, a poet, lover of life and a hippie at heart. She did absolutely everything in her power to accomplish all the things she possibly could with the life God gave her. She is survived by her two Daughters, Sarah Cummings and Samantha DeMagistris, her Grandchildren Amelia DeMagistris, Nicholas Demagistris, and Luca DeMagistris (who all affectionately called her “Grams”), her Brother Philip Dould, late father, Philip Dould and Mother, Rose Dould, and a multitude of dear family and friends. She was born in Chelsea, MA at the Navy Base and grew up as a Navy Brat. She went to high school in Rockville, MD and ended up getting her BA in Art History from UMass Boston. Our mother loved Scottish Music, books, cats, writing, and all her family. She loved life and is now truly free. We love you, Terry.
We will hold a celebration of life for Terry on Thursday, November 7th, from 3PM - 5PM in Middleboro at the O'Neill Funeral Home after which we will move our celebration to dinner at the Fireside at 5:30PM.
On Friday, November 8th, we will have a ceremony at Silver Lake Cemetery in Athol, MA at 10AM. All are welcome to attend.
