Susan Chadwick of Middleboro died peacefully on September 6, 2025. She was 76.
She was born on June 27, 1949 in Medford, daughter of the late William H. and Ruth M. (Goodale) Chadwick, was raised in West Roxbury and was a graduate of Roslindale High School, Class of 1967. Residing there for 18 years, she was an active member of the Girl Scouts of America. Susan resided in Lakeville for 44 years, where she was a member of the Lakeville United Church of Christ and the Lakeville Historical Society, serving for many years as treasurer. She resided in Middleboro for the last 14 years of her life, where she was a leader of the Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts (Middleboro).
Susan's banking career included serving at the former Middleboro Trust Company, the former Shawmut Bank and EquiServe (Computershare) from which she retired. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, baking and sailing on Long Pond.
Susan loved her family and that love was returned. She is survived by two sisters, Joanne Alderman and Barbara Chadwick and several cousins.
Funeral services on September 20, 2025 (Saturday) at 10 a.m. in the Lakeville United Church of Christ, One Precinct Street, Lakeville.
Burial will follow in Sampson Cemetery.
