Shane George Jurgelewicz

Shane George Jurgelewicz of Middleboro died on October 28, 2023 in his home.  He passed peacefully and surrounded by those he loved.  Shane was 60.  

He was born on September 29, 1963 in Taunton, son of the late Stanley Jurgelewicz and Sandra F. (Sullivan) Lynch.  He attended Apponequet Regional High School and later studied at Massasoit Community College.  Shane remained a lifelong resident of the Lakeville-Middleboro area.  He worked as a Technician at Ocean Spray and later as an Independent Contractor.  

Shane loved his family and that love was returned.  He was the original 'party animal'.  He treasured times spent with close friends enjoying a drink, laughing and good music.  Shane enjoyed fishing and camping, canoeing, kayaking and was naturally talented in growing organic plants.  

Husband of Tracey Jurgelewicz.  Father of Joshua Jurgelewicz and the late Jeffrey Barry.  Brother of Stephen, the late Stacey and Scott. Brother-in-law of Dawn Moquin Craig, Takashi Kagawa and Jan Jurgelewicz.  Also survived by several nieces, nephews and Jonathan Almeida whom he loved as a son.  

A Celebration of Life will be held on November 18, 2023 (Saturday) from 4 until 8 PM in the Elks Lodge, 24 High Street, Middleboro.
