Ronald Edward Broomhead

Ronald Edward Broomhead of Middleboro died peacefully on June 3, 2020 in his home following a period of declining health.  Ron was 79.

He was born on October 17, 1940 in Taunton, son of the late John and Harriet (Baker) Broomhead.  A retired automobile mechanic, Ron loved music and especially the guitar.  He was a member of a country music band and enjoyed playing for fundraisers and charities.  He enjoyed wildlife, fishing and boating.  

Beloved husband of Shirley A. (Nash) Broomhead.  Loving father of Michael Crowley, Denise Smith, Shari Brown, Michelle Murdoch, Kevin Broomhead and the late Mark Anthony Bruno and Thomas Edward Broomhead.  Cherished grandfather of Kristen Brown, James Bruno, Cameron and Owen Murdoch, Daniel, Matthew and Kenneth Smith and Kevin Alexander Broomhead.  Brother of the late Betty Olson.  

Funeral services and interment private.
