Robert G. Cady, Jr.

Bob was born on August 1, 1955 in Boston and passed unexpectedly on May 20th 2023.  Bob spent most of his childhood and adult life in Middleboro. He graduated from Middleboro High School in 1973.  He then had various employment as a TV repair technician, a custodian at Hanover Mall and the last three years at Plainridge Casino where he enjoyed being part of their team. 

Bob enjoyed watching all sorts of sports, especially the New England Patriots. A few years ago he was able to attend a game with his brother Peter.  He also enjoyed golfing, photography and traveling with family.  Bob resided with his aging parents and provided much support to them. He shared his father's love for adventure. Bob enjoyed taking his parents on (almost) daily car trips.  He enjoyed art and visited many museums in and around New England. 

He is survived by his mother Joan (MacMasters) Cady, his sisters Sharon (Cady) Woodman of Bristol, NH, Carolyn (Cady) Mullins of New Boston, NH, his brothers Peter Cady of North Attleboro, Paul Cady of Attleboro, Dan Cady of Berlin, MA. He is predeceased by his father Robert Cady and his sister Deborah (Cady)  Belcher.  Bob is also survived by many cousins, nephews and nieces.  Bob  loved spending time with family and celebrating special moments with them. 

A gathering of friends and family for a time of remembrance will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2023 from 1 until 4 p.m. in his home, 7 Myrtle Street, Middleboro.
