Robert Armand Bessette, Jr.

Robert A. Bessette, Jr. of Middleboro died suddenly on May 15, 2020 in his home.  He was 66. 

He was born on April 18, 1954 in Acushnet, son of the late Robert A. and Marylou (Casey) Bessette and attended Middleboro schools.  Bob spoke tirelessly of his time spent in the United States Navy.  Up until the day he died, it continued to be one of his most treasured accomplishments.  He worked as a documentation specialist for a medical devices manufacturer prior to retiring for health reasons.  Bob loved his family and was known to be very sentimental; tears came easily when re-visiting his old cards and photographs that he'd saved over the years.  

Beloved husband of Ann F. Murdoch.  Loving stepfather of Abigail K. Murdoch.  Grandfather and best friend of Layla Sullivan.  Brother of Renee Feeley, Richard Bessette and the late Raymond and Ronald Bessette.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews and their families.  

Funeral services on Friday (August 7, 2020) at 10 AM in the O'Neill Funeral Home, 59 Peirce Street (corner of School Street) Middleboro. 

Visitation on Friday (August 7, 2020) from 9 until 10 AM.  Burial will be private.
