Ralph Joseph Galante

Ralph Joseph Galante of Bridgewater died peacefully in his home on March 11, 2023.  He was 94.  

He was born on May 23, 1928 in Brockton, son of the late Carl Michael and Theresa (Ferrante) Galante.  Ralph loved his family, had an unbelievable work ethic and an overall love of life.  However, his guiding force in life was his strong faith.  He prayed the rosary daily, often more than once a day, watched the TV Mass daily, and was devoted to the Chaplet of Divine Mercy everyday.  

Ralph enjoyed working in the garden on his farm, boating with his family and treasured family outings.  He especially enjoyed dancing, skiing and traveling.  

Beloved husband of the late Frances (Sangowich) Galante.  Adored father of Ralph Carl Galante, Carol Frances Galante-Dias and his beloved son-in-law, Anthony F. Dias.  Cherished by his right-hand men and grandsons, Carl Michael Dias and Robert Anthony Galante Dias.  Loving brother of the late Bob (Francis) Galante, Carl Michael Galante and Rose (Dolly) Sylvester.  Also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  

Visiting hours on March 17, 2023 (Friday) from 3 until 6 p.m. in the O'Neill Funeral Home, 59 Peirce Street (corner of School Street) Middleboro. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on March 18, 2023 (Saturday) at 10 a.m. in Saint Rose of Lima Church, 282 Vaughan Hill Road, Rochester.  Please go directly to the church.  

Interment North Rochester Cemetery.  

A reception will follow the interment at 11:30 a.m. in the Rochester COA, 67 Dexter Lane, Rochester.
