Rachel Ann (Gracia) Pelletier

   Rachel Ann Pelletier, beloved wife of Donald Pelletier of Fall River, Massachusetts (and of the late J.A. Bailey of Wilmington, North Carolina), died on May 26th at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth, Massachusetts after a lengthy battle with complications of Type 1 diabetes.
   Rachel was the cherished daughter of Michael and Brenda Shinskey (and of the late Frederick W. Gracia, Jr.) and the loving sister of Adam R. Gracia - all of Middleborough, MA.  Born in Taunton in 1975, Rachel attended public schools in Middleborough and then proceeded to earn a degree in Liberal Arts at Massasoit College.
   As a child Rachel participated in gymnastics, dance lessons, and 4-H.  Her favorite times, however, most often revolved around her extended family.  In recent years, she enjoyed reminiscing about happy occasions shared with her brother, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.  Holidays, birthdays, family gatherings, trips to Dunkin Donuts for iced coffee or simply visiting brought her special joy.  She loved animals (especially cats) and continued to be an avid collector of dolls throughout her lifetime.

Family and friends are welcome to attend a funeral service at the O'Neill Funeral Home, 59 Peirce Street, Middleborough on Friday, June 3rd, 2022. Viewing will be available from 10:00 am until 10:45 am. Services will begin at O'Neill Funeral Home at 11:00 AM.
Interment will be at the Cemetery at the Green on Plympton Street in Middleborough.  
Following interment, there will be a celebration of Rachel's life for family members and close friends at a luncheon buffet at 1:00 pm at her favorite restaurant - Lorenzo's Italian Restaurant, 500 West Grove St, Middleborough.

Casual dress is acceptable - Rachel would have wanted people to be comfortable.  Attendees are encouraged to wear something purple - her favorite color.
