Norman Earl Poirier

Norman E. Poirier of Middleboro died peacefully in his sleep on September 23, 2021.  

He was born on May 26, 1962 in Middleboro, son of the late Kenneth M., Sr. and Priscilla J. (Melville) Poirier, attending area schools.  Prior to his retirement, Norm devoted 27 years to the Town of Middleboro Highway Department.  He loved the ocean and especially enjoyed clamming, hunting and fishing. Norm cherished his family and adored his grandbabies.    

Husband of Buffy J. (Morgan) Poirier. Father of Kara Morgan, Kaelyn Poirier and Hailey Poirier.  Grandfather of Liam Poirier, Isabella Poirier and Saydia Hodgson.  Brother of Ruth Young, Sherry Shay, the late Kenneth M. Poirier, Jr. and Robert E. Poirier, Sr.  Son-in-law of Patricia Wilson. Also survived by nieces, nephews and their families.  

Visiting hours on October 8, 2021 from 4 until 8 PM in the O'Neill Funeral Home, 59 Peirce Street (corner of School Street) Middleboro. 

Funeral services on October 9, 2021 at 10 AM in the funeral home.
