Mary K. (Wirrell) Rullo

Mary K. (Wirrell) Rullo, age 78, of Middleborough, died on Monday, April 25, 2022 in the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Plymouth. 

Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Robert Charles Wirrell and Marguerite Helen (Maser) Wirrell. Prior to her retirement, Mary worked as a food service worker for many years at the Brockton VA Medical Center. In her spare time she enjoyed playing her computer games, watching soap operas and game shows. By her side you would always find her beloved dog Scout. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and especially loved watching the great-grandchildren grow up. An avid bird watcher, Mary was a huge Elvis fan, and had an infectious laugh. 

Mary was the beloved wife of the late Vito Rullo for 50 years; mother of Charles Lyons and his wife Cynthia of Taunton, and Deborah Lyons of Taunton; Nana of Amanda (Mandy), Sean, Brittany, and Christopher (CJ); Great-Nana of Morgan, Liam, Anya, Damon, and Greyson; sister of Bill Wirrell and his wife Sue of Milford, Tom Wirrell and his wife Debbie of Middleborough, Fred Gilmore and wife Nancy of Southwick, the late Robert Wirrell of Brockton, aunt of Tim Veiga of Middleborough; sister-in-law of Mary Veiga of Middleborough, whom took care of her until the end. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
