Mary J. (Timko) Frankiewicz

Mary Frankiewicz passed away peacefully on December 23, 2020.  She was 86 years old.  

Mary was born on February 21, 1934 in Richmondale, Pennsylvania to the late Katherine and Paul Timko.  She was the sixth of eight children and was affectionately nicknamed "Babe" by her siblings.  She married Edward Frankiewicz in 1958 and together they moved to East Hartford, Connecticut where they raised their two children, Edward, Jr. and Diane.  Mary later moved to Middleboro in 2006 where she lived with her daughter and family. 

Mary's legacy can be found in the people whom she loved dearly and the many hearts that she touched with her gentle kindness.  She found great joy in being a mother and especially a grandmother and great-grandmother.  Spending time with her grandkids was by far her most favorite thing to do.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.  

Beloved wife of the late Edward J. Frankiewicz.  Devoted mother of Edward and Geni Frankiewicz of Hampton, Virginia and Diane and Jeff Leech of Middleboro.  Cherished grandmother of Stephanie Frankiewicz, Edward Frankiewicz, III, Cory and Katie Leech, Kyle Leech (and Michelle and son, Mason) Cassie Leech (and Zack) Kevin Leech (and Shannen).  Great-grandmother of Robby Leech.  Sister of Kaye Dishuk and sister-in-law of Dot and Joe Putkowski and Rosemary Schweitzer.  Mary was pre-deceased by several brothers and sisters and leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews as well.  

Calling hours will be private. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a graveside service on Wednesday (December 30, 2020) at 11 AM in Hillside Cemetery in East Hartford, Connecticut.
