Mark Pray passed away on February 25, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of memories filled with laughter, skill and dedication to the people he loved. A proud veteran of the United States Navy Seabees, Mark served his country with honor and carried that same work ethic and resilience throughout his life.
Mark was a man of many talents. He worked as a carpenter, mechanic and computer technician----someone who could build, fix or figure out just about anything. Whether it was working with his hands, solving a technical problem or helping someone in need, Mark took pride in using his skills to make life better for those around him.
He was the beloved father of Rebecca Pray, who meant the world to him. Mark was the cherished son of Sarah Pray and Robert Pray, and a loving brother to Debbie Ferbert, Kathy Bruni, Peter Pray, Rebecca Pray, and Rober Pray. He was also the proud uncle to Lauren, Donald, Nicole and Charles. He will also be missed by his great nieces & nephews.
Mark will always be remembered for his sense of humor and his ability to make people laugh, even during difficult moments. One of his favorite sayings, "Another day in the jungle", perfectly captured his outlook on life---taking each day as it came with humor, grit, and a bit of adventure.
Those who knew Mark will remember his kindness, his sharp wit, and the countless ways he showed up for the people he cared about. His presence will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
His legacy lives on through his family, friends, and all the lives he touched along the way. Another day in the jungle, Mark---you will always be remembered.
Visitation on March 14, 2026 (Saturday) beginning at 12 Noon in the O'Neill Funeral Home, 59 Peirce Street (corner of School Street) Middleboro. Military Honors will be rendered at 1 PM. Words of rememberance by family and friends will follow.
