Marilyn Ann (Healey) Campbell of Middleboro, MA passed away peacefully on July 26, 2022 at
the age of 91. Mrs. Campbell, a lifelong Middleboro resident born in 1930, was the wife of the
late Walter D. Campbell, and sister of the late Barbara Jean Healey Teceno who just recently
passed away. She is survived by her sister, Christine Every-Antal of Payson, AZ, and her nieces,
Nancy Godek and husband, Kevin of Plymouth Ma and Lynne Pelton and husband, David,
Myrtle Beach South Carolina and their families, whom she loved dearly. Mrs. Campbell
graduated from Middleboro High School in 1948 and worked for many years as a Nurses Aid for
the Brockton Visiting Nurse Association and then in the photo department at the former
Winthrop-Atkins Company of Middleboro. She was a longtime, active member of Middleboro’s
Sacred Heart Church: St. Isidore Parish and supported many Catholic charities, in addition to
those helping animals. True to her Irish Catholic roots, Marilyn was a woman who cared deeply
about social issues and had a generous heart and dry wit. She treasured her many friends and
family (including the Graham family, of which she was an honorary member), loved receiving
and reading all types of books and, of course, was known to enjoy a glass (or two) of good Pinot
Grigio. Friends may honor Marilyn’s life by gathering at the O’Neill Funeral Home, 59 Peirce
Street, Middleboro, MA beginning at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, August 2, 2022. A Mass of Christian
Burial will follow at the Sacred Heart Church: St. Isidore Parish at 11 a.m. Interment is at the
Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in
Marilyn’s name to the Sacred Heart Church: St. Isidore Parish, 340 Centre Street, Middleboro,
MA 02346.
