Finally, Lindsay retired from the Fairhaven Police Department in 2019 after working for 19 years as a 911 communications dispatcher. In 2008, Lindsay received a 911 Honors Award as Dispatcher of the Year from the Massachusetts Statewide Telecommunications Board for her excellent
handling of several emergency calls.
Lindsay enjoyed gardening, walking her dog, watching her grandchildren play sports, the Red Sox and the Patriots and especially loved spending time with her family.

Lindsay is survived by her sisters Cathy O’Brien Spencer, Marjorie O’Brien Biszko and sister in law Deborah Hollis.
