Linda Singer of Middleboro Ma formally of Pembroke passed away peacefully, surrounded by her adoring
family on April 25, 2021. Born on January 7, 1942, she was the loving daughter of Issie and Katherine
Silverberg. Linda married the love of her life David, on July 10, 1960. They spent over 60 years growing
their family and enjoying life togehter. Later in life, Linda spent many hours volunteering at the
Middleboro Council of Aging. Over the past dozen years, she developed a love of painting and shared her
works with many, as a member of the Middleboro Art Association. She also enjoyed her friends at Oak
Point and could often be found in the pool doing water aerobics with them. Linda was a kind soul who
gave of herself unselfishly. Anyone who knew her considered her a friend. Her most loved were her
cousins whom she communicated with often.
She is survived by her beloved husband David, her son Peter Singer of Carver, daughter Wendy and her
husband John Gillen of Halifax, and daughter Heather and her husband Kevin McCormack of Pembroke,
the lights of her life Amanda and her wife Heather, Nathaniel, Melanie, Connor, Tyler, Madison, Quinn
and Cole. Linda is also survived by her brother Mark Silverberg and his wife Joan of Springfield MO, her
sister-in-law Sandy Singer, and was the loving and adored aunt of Jeffrey, Sara, Heidi, Haley, Jennifer and
Jessica. She was predeceased by her beautiful sister Diana Gordan.
Her family is grateful for the loving care and support provided by South Shore Hospital Critical Care ICU
unit. Special thanks are extended to our niece Jordan McLevedge for the kindness and support that she
provided her during her stays at South Shore Hospital.
Committal service on May 17, 2021 (Monday) at 11:30 AM in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
