Linda Louise Carlson

Linda Louise Carlson, a beloved sister, aunt and friend, passed peacefully on June 27, 2025.  She was 80.

She was born on October 16, 1944 in Brockton, daughter of the late Lawrence C. and Carrie Louise (Leach) Carlson.  Raised and educated in East Bridgewater, Linda was a graduate of East Bridgewater High School, Class of 1962. She was also a graduate of the Chandler School for Women, a professional training school in Boston.  Linda worked at the prominent Boston law firm of Nutter McClennen & Fish (now Nutter).

Known for her gentle spirit, love of nature and most especially her cats. Linda was happiest sitting on her back porch with a cup of coffee, enjoying the birds and of course a cigarette. In earlier years, she enjoyed camping with her family in the White Mountains and climbing Mount Washington, which she did three times. Though at times a timid person, she actually drove a big block pulling tractor for a finish.  Linda retired to Wareham where she was devoted to caring for her mother.

Family members include her brother, Thomas Carlson and her nephew, David Dias.
