Linda S. (Powers) Andrade

Linda S. (Powers) Andrade of Middleboro passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, January 28, 2024 following a brief illness.  

Linda was born in Somerville, MA, on October 30, 1957, to the late Richard and Gertrude (Taylor) Powers. She was a Middleboro High School graduate, and a long-time employee of the Boston Envelope Company.  

Linda’s two favorite things were her family and her love of all things Disney. Her happiest days were spent with her family at Disney World, and she was always hoping for one more trip.  

Linda is survived by her beloved children, Rebecca Andrade, of Middleboro, MA and her long-term partner, Matthew Rose. Her sons Shawn Andrade, and Curtis Andrade, both of Middleboro, MA. Her brother Clayton Powers of Murrells Inlet, SC and his partner, Susan Burbank, her sister, Carolyn Powers of Middleboro, MA  and her sister, Roberta Southworth of Louisburg, NC and herhusband, Sidney. Her loving grandchildren, Alisa-Marie Andrade, and Cora Andrade, both of Middleboro, MA, Ayden Rose, and Kora Andrade-Rose, both of Wareham, MA, Shawn Andrade Jr., Luke Andrade, and Tyler Doherty, all of Bridgewater, MA. In addition to her many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by her brother, Richard Powers Jr., of Fall River,MA. 

Friends and relatives may call on Thursday, February 1, 2024 from 4 until 8 PM to the O'Neill Funeral Home, 59 Peirce Street (corner of School Street) Middleboro. 

Funeral services on Friday (February 2, 2024) at 11 AM in the funeral home.  

Interment will be at a later date.
