Joyce (Carter) Mullens

Joyce (Carter) Mullens of Middleboro died unexpectedly on September 5, 2023.  

Joyce was born on December 26, 1938 in Middleboro, daughter of the late Paul M. and Beatrice E. (Hopkins) Carter.  Joyce loved to walk everyday, rain or shine with her close friend Jan. She also enjoyed gardening and going out with her friends from the Middleborough congregation to provide service work.  

She was survived by four children: James Mullens, Jr., Paul Mullens and his longtime companion, Kathy Smith, Serge and Joanna Loiselle, John Mullens and the late Joanne Jarabek-Mullens.  Sister of Joan Silva and her husband, Joe of Middleboro and the late Robert Carter.  Grandmother of Paul Dellarocco, Shay Carter, Crystal Mullens, Robert Loiselle, Aylana Mullens. Also survived by 8 great-grandchildren and her Jehovah Witness family from the Middleboro Congregation.

Visitation on September 13, 2023 (Wednesday) from 4 until 6 PM in the O'Neill Funeral Home, 59 Peirce Street (corner of School Street) Middleboro. A service will follow at 6 PM.
