Joseph Edward Quelle

Joseph Edward Quelle passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 10, 2021.  He was born 
July 15, 1937, to Arthur and Madeline Quelle of Middleboro, MA where he spent his formative years 
attending Middleboro Public School, before enlisting in the U.S. Marine Corps at the age of 17.  Joe was 
proud to have served his country as a member of the 3rd Marine Division on Okinawa, Japan and played 
on the Division football team.  After his discharge he was a patrolman for the Middleboro Police Dept., 
followed by over 20 years on the Barnstable Police Department.  He went into sales, running Quelle 
Associates as a Manufacturer’s Representative for many years while living in Annandale, NJ.  Joe was 
predeceased by his parents, his brothers Buddy and Mickey, sister Pat, and his beloved son Joe-Joe.  He 
is survived by his sons Ben (Jennifer) and James Beck (Alisha), and grandchildren Kyla, Jackson, Elaina, 
and Serena. 

A graveside service and interment will be held on Thursday (February 18, 2021) at 11 AM in the Mosswood Cemetery, Cotuit, MA.  COVID-19 protocols will be observed.
