Joseph Wilfred Mackiewicz

Joseph Wilfred Mackiewicz of Middleboro passed away on September 23, 2021, at the age of 55 after being diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer earlier this year.    

Joe was born on October 2, 1965, in Wareham, the son of Donald C. Mackiewicz and Sandra Lee Lowder.  Joe was an avid sports fan and enjoyed spending his free time watching sports. Joe devoted many years to The Alden Shoe Company, where he worked as a machinist and was dearly respected by his coworkers.  

Joe leaves behind his sister, Bethel Lee Mackiewicz, of Port Republic, NJ, as well as his many nieces and nephews from his late brother, Paul Mackiewicz. Joe was well-loved and greatly missed by all. 

Private funeral services will be held at a later date.
