John Patrick Burke, III

John Patrick Burke, III of West Barnstable died peacefully in his home on October 5, 2024.  Johnnie was 63.

He was born on June 28, 1961 in Middleboro, the son of Sandra A. (Shurtleff) Knapp.  Johnnie was artistic and possessed many talents.  A gifted woodworker, he also enjoyed masonry work and landscape design. Johnnie worked and resided at the Cobweb Farm, West Barnstable.  In addition to maintenance and farm work, he offered his talents each December during the Cobweb Farm Annual Christmas Charity Fundraiser for St. Jude's Childrens' Hospital, the happiest event of the year. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and sending his Mom beautiful photos of flowers growing on the farm.

In addition to his mother, Johnnie is survived by extended family and friends.
