Joan Hammond Obituary

Joan Charlotte Hammond died peacefully on March 8, 2022 following a period of declining health. She was 80.

Joan was born on May 30, 1941 in Brockton, daughter of the late George and Evelyn (Bates) Hammond, attended local schools and was a graduate of Oliver Ames High School.

Prior to retirement, Joan worked as a florist, personal care aide and in grocery stores. She enjoyed gardening and loved her pets. Day trips with the Council on Aging brought her great joy.

Joan was interred in Colebrook Cemetery, Whitman.
