Jasmine Marie Lane of Middleboro died tragically on February 24, 2024. She was 12.
The adored daughter of James J. Lane and Lisa M. Dunstan, Jasmine was many things. A smart yet goofy girl, she loved life, her family and friends and being a cheerleader. Jasmine was taking a babysitting class and was looking forward to becoming a babysitter. Her sister Sage remarked on Jasmine having big and beautiful eyes. Her sister Serenity enjoyed the hours spent with Jasmine playing Roblox. And, her sister Trinity treasured the many dance parties shared with Jasmine.
In addition to her parents and sisters, Jasmine is survived by Jeffrey Dunstan (and the late Suzanne Dunstan) Jane Dmitruk, Joseph Froehlich and Ava. She also leaves to mourn aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends. Jasmine loved all of us and we all loved her. We will speak of her often and remember her with great stories of laughter and love.
Walk-through calling hours will be held on Friday, March 1, 2024 from 4 until 7 PM in the First Baptist Church of North Middleborough, 111 Plymouth Street, corner of Bedford Street (Route 18).
Funeral services will be private. Please omit flowers.
Jasmine's family is overwhelmed by the love and support shown to them. Though their loss is immeasurable so is their gratitude. Her family wishes to acknowledge the Middleborough Fire Department, the Middleborough Police Department, Middleborough Public Schools, the Middleborough Town Manager, Pastor Jason Genest and the First Baptist Church family.
In lieu of flowers, please consider contributing to the Middleborough Fire Department for whose bravery and love Jasmine's family will always remember.
