Jacob "Jake" McMahon

Jacob “Jake” Robert McMahon lost his long battle with addiction on Tuesday August 3, 2021. Beloved son of Marcy and Bob McMahon. Cherished brother to Jenna McMahon and her fiancé Michael Siipola and grandson of Robert and Joyce McMahon as well as predeceased grandparents Edith and Martin Shaffer.

Jake was loved and cherished by numerous aunts, uncles cousins, friends and furry family members. Jake struggled with his addiction for many years but had recently celebrated his 3rd year of sobriety during which he blossomed and thrived and brought so much joy to his family and friends. Jake was always available to help others struggling with addiction as well as their families. Jake loved to spend time with family, whether relaxing by the pool, playing with the dogs , watching sports with his Dad and even going on a family vacation to Ireland. Jake was a conscientious hard worker and loved to golf any chance he got. Jake had a beautiful soul and an infectious smile and he was sensitive and caring, a great listener and always could make anyone laugh. 

Please come help us celebrate the life of our amazing Jake who left his mark on all of us. If you have a memory or a funny story, we'd love for you to share on that day.  A Celebration of Life will be held on August 14, 2021 (Saturday) from 12 Noon until 4 PM in the Mitchell Memorial Club, 29 Elm Street, Middleboro.
