On Wednesday, April 7, 2021, G. Michael Chilcot aka “Chilly “passed away at the age of 61. He passed
peacefully after years of battling cancer and related illnesses. He was the son of Ann Fortin Chilcot and
the late Buddy D. Chilcot. Survived by his Mother Ann, and siblings; Dwaine Chilcot, Elaine Linton,
Fredrick Chilcot, Hope Moffat, and Ian Chilcot. He was a close family member always with aunts, uncles
many cousins, nephews, nieces, and a great-nephew.
Mike was employed at Bridgewater State University, working at the Kelly Gymnasium, and before that he
was employed at the Lakeville State Hospital. Everyone in the area knew Chilly, he was a super fan in the
community. Everyone will miss him at all the sporting events in Middleboro and at Bridgewater
University football tailgating. A voice in the crowd of support for the local teams, well maybe not the
referees so much. Beyond his interests in sports, he was always eager to help others in the community
and was a devoted member of the Middleboro Lions Club. Mike had a kids passion for sports, parades
and any event that involved cooking.
