Frank A. Robbins, a longtime resident of Middleboro, died peacefully in his home on March 24, 2023. Frank was 91 and a half years old.
He was born on September 24, 1931 in Chelsea, Maine, the son of Roland A. and Bessie R. (Forrester) Robbins. Frank was the second eldest of sixteen children.
Prior to his retirement, Frank worked as a Mechanic and Machine Operator. His work ethic never wavered and he worked hard his entire life. Frank loved his family and that love was returned. It was that loving family that surrounded him when he quietly passed. Frank made you feel special just being in his presence because to him you were special.
He enjoyed bike riding with all the generations of his family, playing checkers, watching Westerns and playing the harmonica. A family record holding Arm Wrestler, Frank's favorite pastime was watching wrestling.
Devoted husband of 68 years to Jacqueline A. (Millette) Robbins. Adored father of William E. Robbins and his wife Delia, Theresa A. Daley and her husband John and Catherine Tremblay-Pereira all of Middleboro. Brother of Maurice Robbins, Evelyn Rapoza, Joan Smith and Jean Sullivan. Also survived by 8 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren all of whom he cherished and called him Papa.
Visiting hours on March 29, 2023 (Wednesday) from 5 until 7 p.m. in the O'Neill Funeral Home, 59 Peirce Street (corner of School Street) Middleboro.
Funeral services on March 30, 2023 (Thursday) at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
Interment will follow in Saint Mary Cemetery.
