Florence Maria Butler

Florence Maria Butler of Middleboro died peacefully in the Hannah B. G. Shaw Home on July 29, 2022.  She was 86.  

She was born on December 6, 1935 in Middleboro, daughter of the late Philip E. and Maria T. (Vickery) Butler.  Florence was a graduate of Middleboro High School and later attended nursing school.  Prior to retirement she worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the Oak Hill Nursing Home for 36 years.  

Beloved mother of Alfred V. Travassos, Jr., David M. Travassos, Frank P. Travassos and Colleen Marie Travassos.  Sister of the late Philip E. Butler, Jr., Ernest P. Butler, Roger Butler, James Butler and Ethel J. Voci.  Also survived by nieces and nephews.  

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at 10 AM in the Nemasket Hill Cemetery. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
