Evelyn Albert Obituary

Evelyn A. (Zion) Albert of Middleboro died suddenly on November 13, 2020.  She was 44.

She was born on April 30, 1976 in Stoughton and was a graduate of Middleboro High School.  She attended Massasoit Community College for 2 years before transferring to Bridgewater State College (BSU) from which she graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Physiology.  Following graduation, Evelyn worked several jobs before pursuing a career as a dental assistant, working in Taunton.  She loved decorating for the holidays and was often way ahead of everybody.  She was a talented cook and enjoyed making meals for her family.  Evelyn also loved animals, especially horses.  She leaves behind her lovable Bluetick Coonhound, Violet.  They had a very special bond.  And, her favorite flowers were sunflowers.  Evelyn had a passion for fast cars.  Only later her family discovered that she raced down Ashley Boulevard in New Bedford against guys with fast cars.  She was only beat once!

Evelyn will be sadly missed by her devoted parents, Walter W. and Evelyn E. (Chipman) Zion; her husband, James Albert and her beautiful daughter, Sophia Rose.  Evelyn is also survived by her aunts and uncles: Brian and Lisa Albert, Carrie and Sandy Petty and Marilyn Chipman; her cousin: Jennifer Truelson; several nieces and nephews.
