Ellsworth "Nick" Nickerson

Ellsworth L. "Nick" Nickerson of West Bridgewater died on May 10, 2021.  He was 85. 

Nick was born on October 11, 1935 in Brockton, son of the late Frank and Marion (Joyce) Nickerson and was a graduate of Whitman High School.  He served in the United States Army and was Honorably Discharged.  Prior to his retirement he worked as a retail auto parts salesman.  Nick was a devout Christian and a member of Faith Chapel, where he served as a Deacon for many years.  Nick loved his family, especially his grandchildren and enjoyed refurbishing bicycles. 

Beloved husband of the late Meredith A. (Wixon) Nickerson.  Devoted father of Stephen E. Nickerson of Thompson, Connecticut, Cynthia L. Haslam of West Bridgewater, Susan J. Duong and her husband, Hieu Duong of Brockton, Timothy J. Nickerson and his wife, Rachel Nickerson of Bridgewater.  Brother of the late Judith Skinner.  Also survived by 11 cherished grandchildren. 

A memorial service will be held on Sunday (May 16, 2021) at 1 PM in the Faith Chapel Assembly of God, 340 Pleasant Street (Route 104) Bridgewater. For those unable to attend in person, a live stream video is available.  Please visit the church website:  www.fcagbridge.org

Interment will be at a later date in Pine Hill Cemetery.
