Elizabeth Bonney Obituary

Elizabeth Burckes Bonney of Middleboro died peacefully on December 28, 2018 following a brief period of declining health. Mrs. Bonney was 105 years old.

She was born on June 4, 1913 in Waltham, daughter of the late Ernest and Susan (Stone) Burckes and attended local schools. She was a graduate of the Massachusetts College of Art and Design (MassArt). She was a recipient (2018) of the Boston Post Cane Award. A homemaker, Mrs. Bonney was pre-deceased by her husband, Loen Cushman Bonney in 1987.

Devoted mother of Judith Termin of Renton, Washington and Steven L. Bonney of Mattapoisett. Also survived by 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Private interment at the convenience of the family.
