Edward Albert Sullivan of Middleboro died on June 2, 2020 following a period of declining health. Ed was 79.
He was born on July 6, 1940 in Cambridge, son of the late Harold and Ida (Mazzaschi) Sullivan and attended Somerville schools. Prior to his retirement, Ed devoted almost 30 years working as the sexton at the Central Congregational Church in Newton. A professional wrestler, Ed traveled throughout the United States and Canada participating in matches.
Beloved husband of Frances (Palladino) Sullivan. Devoted father of Edward A. Sullivan, Jr. and his wife, Kim of Dedham. Cherished grandfather of Harper and Hunter Sullivan. Loving brother of Patricia Sullivan of Dracut. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Funeral services and interment private.
