Diane M. Koch

Diane M. (Elliott) Koch, age 66, of Middleboro, MA, passed away peacefully on June 12th, surrounded by her loving family after a brief illness.

Diane was the devoted wife of 45 years to Kenneth Koch of Middleboro. She was a loving mother to Kenneth Jr. and his wife Katy of Duxbury, and to Justin and his wife Katelyn of Sagamore Beach. She was the proud and adoring “Mimi” to her grandchildren Josephine, Charles, and Scarlett, who were the light of her life.

Diane was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph D. Elliott and Helen M. Elliott. She is survived by her siblings Helen Wells, Joe Elliott, Terry Sprague, Cindy Montgomery, Michael Elliott, and Ann‑Marie Dunn, and was predeceased by Kathleen Eramian and David Elliott. Diane also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great‑nieces, and great‑nephews whom she cherished deeply.

Diane graduated from Braintree High School, the New England School of Finance, and the New England School of Cosmetology. She built a remarkable career at Rockland Trust, working her way up to Vice President before retiring after 25 dedicated years.

She loved vacationing in the Caribbean, shopping, and enjoying a cold Dunkin’ iced coffee. Above all, Diane treasured time with her family. Her happiest years were spent being the best Mimi anyone could ask for. Her warmth, humor, and unwavering love will be forever held in the hearts of those who knew her.

Visiting hours will be held at O’Neill Funeral Home, 59 Peirce Street (corner of School Street) Middleboro on Wednesday (June 17, 2026)  from 4–7 PM.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church in Middleboro, MA, on Thursday (June 18, 2026) at 10 AM.  

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Diane’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
