David Allen Ventura

David Allen Ventura 78 of Lakeville MA passed away on May 1st 2022 after a long battle with Multiple Myeloma Cancer and a short battle with Covid Pneumonia. 

David was born on October 4th 1943 in Brockton MA. His parents were the late John J Ventura and Helen P (Zion) of Lakeville MA. He is predeceased by his wife of 53 years Donna Louise (Rhodes) Ventura of Lakeville MA married on December 23rd 1964.

He is survived by his siblings Robert Ventura and his wife Ann of Middleboro MA, his sister Linda (Ventura) Plunkett of Phillipsburg PA, his children Kimberley J Ventura Mitchell of Middleboro MA, Edward A Ventura of Hyannis MA, and Beth A Ventura of Dighton MA, his grandchildren Danielle L (Ventura) Jaillet and her husband Paul of Middleboro MA, the late Brandon D Mitchell of Medford MA, Andrew W Mitchell of Middleboro MA, Michael A Ventura of Sagamore MA, Nicholas W Ventura of Dighton MA, as well as his great grandchildren Vincent L Scansaroli of Middleboro MA and Madison T Mitchell of Brockton MA. 

David was a graduate of Middleboro High School class of 1961. He went on to be a prototype short run machinist as well as owning his own business QC Components for many years. David had a passion for the outdoors and enjoyed competing in canoe races, scuba diving, hunting, fishing, hanging by the pool for family cookouts while listening to classic rock, Pink Floyd was his favorite! David was very handy and the family always said, “If he can’t fix it no one can!”

David’s visitation is open to the public and will be held at the O’Neill Funeral Home, 59 Peirce Street (corner of School Street) Middleboro MA on Saturday, May14th 2022 from 2-4 p.m. with a memorial service to follow from 4-5 p.m.
