David James Lofstrom, Sr. of Middleboro died peacefully on August 18, 2021. He was 74.
He was born on September 25, 1946 in Brockton, son of the late Raymond E. and Virginia (Tevlin) Lofstrom Labelle, attending local schools. A veteran, David served in the United States Air Force, attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant, during the Vietnam War and was Honorably Discharged. He worked as a Security Officer for the Brockton Public Schools and later as a Police Officer for the Town of Eastham, from which he retired.
Husband of Janet L. (Bourne) Lofstrom. Father of David J. Lofstrom, Jr. and his wife, Alysa, Kathleen Lofstrom and Danielle Kovac. Grandfather of Shayla Lofstrom, Zack Silveira, Kyle Kovac, Benjamin Lofstrom, Luke Lofstrom and Jacob Lofstrom. Brother of Raymond E. Lofstrom, Kathy Moniz and Terence Labelle. Step-father of Robert Pugliesi and his wife, Veronica Pugliesi. Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Private interment in the Massachusetts National Cemetery.
