Dana Arthur Preti

Dana Arthur Preti of Middleboro died on February 14, 2018.  He was 67.

He was born on July 11, 1950 in Plymouth, the son of Arthur William Preti and Jeannette Bertha (Freyermuth) Preti.  Dana was a graduate of Middleboro High School, Class of 1968.  He enlisted in the United States Army and completed basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.  A veteran of the Vietnam War, he served 2 tours of duty prior to receiving an Honorable Discharge. Dana was a Disabled American Veteran (DAV). 

Prior to retirement, Dana worked as a bookbinder at the Courier Corporation in Stoughton for 25 years.  He was a lifetime member of the Mitchell Memorial Club and enjoyed all sports, especially golf and fishing. 

Beloved husband of Nancy G. (Woodman) Preti.  Devoted brother of David A. and his wife, Jean Preti of Raynham and the late Douglas A. Preti.  Loving uncle of Troy and Jodi Preti.  Also survived by his step-son, Brian T. Smith. 

Military Honors will be rendered on Monday (February 26, 2018) at 11:15 AM in the Massachusetts National Cemetery.
