Constance "Connie" (Crouse) McDonald

Constance (Connie) McDonald, 77 of Taunton passed away peacefully at her home and surrounded by 
her family on Monday, March 22, 2021.

Connie was born on July 5, 1943 in East Hartford, CT and was the daughter of the late Irving and Nadine 
(McCarthy) Crouse.  She grew up in Middleborough Massachusetts, graduating from Middleborough 
High School in 1961.

She was the beloved wife of Charles McDonald, to whom she was married to, and the best friend of, for 
46 years.  She was the loving mother of Robert (Dorin) Thibault of Westborough, MA, Darrin (Regina) 
Thibault of Raynham, MA, Sharon Brides of East Taunton, MA and William (Megan) McDonald of 
Westborough, MA. She was also ‘Nana’ to 10 much loved grandchildren; Daniel, Allison, Taylor, Jeffrey, Morgan, Sean, Jacob, Caroline, Connor and  Brendan and great grandmother to Jack. 

Connie was a wonderful mother and homemaker for many years.  After raising her family, she was a 
dedicated office clerk at Plumbers Supply Company in New Bedford, until her retirement in 2009.  She 
then enjoyed many great years, taking trips with her husband and spending time with her family. 

Private services will be held for Connie on Sunday, March 28, 2021, at O’Neill Funeral Home, 59 Peirce 
Street, Middleborough, MA. 

The family would ask that any memorial contributions may be made to Old Colony Hospice and Palliative Care, 321 Manley St, West Bridgewater, MA
