Obituary
Christa Battle, age 81, of Middleborough passed away at 4:47 PM, Friday, March 10, 2023, at St Elizabeth Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.
She was born June 10, 1941, to Pauline in Heinrich Bern.
Christa is survived by, her daughter Nancy, her nice Lucia who she raised like a daughter, stepson Bryan,
her brother Stephan and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Butch, her parents, two sisters, and a brother.
Christa was a resident of Middleborough where she lived since leaving her home in Germany at the age of 63.
She loved her family, was always supportive of her loved ones, she loved to cook, she enjoyed reading, enjoyed watching TV
and she loved her cats.
She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Visiting hours on March 20, 2023 (Monday) from 4 until 6 p.m. in the O'Neill Funeral Home, 59 Peirce Street (corner of School Street) Middleboro.
Funeral services will follow at 6 p.m. in the funeral home.
Interment on March 21, 2023 (Tuesday) at 10:15 a.m. in the Massachusetts National Cemetery.
