Chester R Bonvie of Middleboro, formerly of Quincy passed away peacefully on Friday, September 3 surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband to Kathleen (Spano) Bonvie for almost 60 years. He was born in Quincy on October 24, 1938 to Anna (Sullivan) and Chester R. Bonvie Sr.
Chester was the loving father of Debra Coulter and her husband Jim of Hanover and Jennifer Sullivan and her husband John of Milton. He was better known as Papa to “his girls” Hanah and Colleen Coulter and Madison Sullivan.
He was the brother to the late Anne Treamer, Bill and Jerry Bonvie and uncle to many nephews and nieces.
Chet played semi pro league baseball, cribbage, he was an avid Boston sports fan, loved cooking for his family, listening to music and doing crossword puzzles. He was a member of the Army National Guard and International Typographical Union.
