Charles M. Galvin of Middleboro died unexpectedly and surrounded by his loving family on September 23, 2020. He was 72.
Charlie was born on May 18, 1948 in Boston and attended local schools. He was the son of the late George and Gertrude (Morton) Galvin. He was the youngest of their eleven children. Prior to his retirement, Charlie provided maintenance services for Patricia Management, a property management company where he worked for many years.
Beloved husband of the late Linda Marie (Bissonette) Galvin. Devoted father of Charles M. "Chip" Galvin, Jr. of Middleboro, Melissa L. Oliveira of East Taunton, Jill M. Stack of Carver and Adam M. Galvin of Middleboro. Loving brother of Frankie and Porky. Also survived by several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Wake on Thursday (October 1, 2020) from 3 until 6 PM in the O'Neill Funeral Home, 59 Peirce Street (corner of School Street) Middleboro. Please observe social distancing practices. Face masks are required at all times.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday (October 2, 2020) at 10 AM in Saints Martha and Mary Church, 354 Bedford Street (Route 18) Lakeville. Seated is limited and pre-registration is required to attend. Please click on the link:
