Carl A. Di Pietro of Middleboro died on Thursday, October 6, 2022. He was 92.
He was the husband of Barbara M. (Burr) Di Pietro. Carl was born on February 26, 1930 in Somerville, son of the late Carmine and Mary (Puzo) Di Pietro. He was a graduate of Somerville High School, Class of 1948 and earned a Bachelor of Business Management Degree (cum laude) from Northeastern University.
Mr. Di Pietro served in the United States Navy during the Korean War and retired following 28 years of combined service, active and reserve. The last 19 years were served with the Office of Naval Intelligence. He retired as a Navy Commander on September 8, 1982.
Mr. Di Pietro retired from MetLife Insurance Company and Essex Securities, LLC in March 2003, serving 18 years as a Financial Advisor.
In addition to his wife, Barbara, he is survived by 9 children: Bonnie Scagliarini, Debra Vasquez, Carl J. Di Pietro, Kerry L. Nadeau, Kenneth W. Nadeau, Scott A. Di Pietro and Susan M. Zaval all of Florida, Anne M. Di Pietro of Taunton and David Di Pietro of Wareham. Brother of the late Joseph A. Di Pietro and Claire Pratti. Also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-granchildren, many nieces, nephews and their families.
Graveside services on October 15, 2022 (Saturday) at 10 a.m. in the Titicut Parish Cemetery, Plymouth Street, North Middleboro.
