Annabelle May ( Pittsley) Rogers 93, of Taunton, passed away Monday, August 19, 2019, peacefully at her home. She was the wife of the late Edwin Rogers.
Born and raised in Middleboro, daughter of the late George and Annie ( Horne) Pittsley.
She is survived by her twin sons , Robert J Rogers, Richard G Rogers and his wife Patricia Rogers of Englewood, Fl. Her beloved grandchildren Marianne( Rogers)Moore and her husband Murray Moore and Kerry Rogers of Taunton. She was the Great Grandmother to Jamie Dominick, Kyren Avellar, Arielle and Ty Moore and recently became a Great Great grandmother to Lincoln James Dominick. She is also survived by her beloved sister Florence (Joanie) Patistea and husband David of Dartmouth. Her dear friends Michelle and Frank Monteiro helped provide assistance and companionship in her recent years. Annabelle’s family gives their greatest gratitude.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers George K Pittsley, Carlton Pittsley, and her two sisters Marion( Pittsley) Gerrior, and Barbara Pittsley.
Annabelle had worked at the Forest Manor Rehabilitation Center in Middleboro for many years until her retirement. Annabelle loved collecting trinkets. She was an avid New England Patriots fan, enjoyed traveling, and especially loved going to the casino.
Funeral services on Friday (August 23, 2019) at 11 AM in the O'Neill Funeral Home, 59 Peirce Street (corner of School Street) Middleboro. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday morning, beginning at 9:30 AM.
Interment Nemasket Hill Cemetery.
