Richard Donald Faul, Sr. of Middleboro died on August 17, 2018 surrounded by his loving family, following a period of declining health. He was 76. Richie was born on February 24, 1942 in Boston, son of the late Albert G. and Helen M. (Russell) Faul. He was Patricia (Walkup) Faul’s beloved husband for 54 years. Devoted father of Richard D. Faul, Jr. and his wife, Kelly of Barrington, NH and Stacey L. (Faul) Widegren and her husband, Paul of Middleboro. Adored grandfather of Jacob, Nicole, Travis and Casey. Loving brother of Judy Leroux of Norton; Carol Burke and her husband, Frank of Weymouth; and the late Albert G. Faul, Jr. and his widow Penney Faul. Richie is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends that will miss him. Richie was a graduate of Boston Trade High School and Wentworth Institute of Technology. Prior to his retirement, Richie owned and operated several businesses from Metropolitan Landscaping of Roslindale and RDF Enterprises of Dedham and most recently, P & R Concrete Forms out of Middleboro. He was a member of the Prospect Lodge for more than 50 years, Taleb Grotto for more than 45 years, a member of the Middleboro Elks and a lifetime member of the Mitchell Memorial Club. He spent many happy hours maintaining his garden, fruit trees and yard. Some of his favorite moments were teaching his grandchildren how to garden and woodwork, and he especially enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports and perform in plays. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 2 pm- 6 pm at the Mitchell Memorial Club located at 29 Elm Street in Middleboro.
