Henry E. Zion, Jr. of Middleboro died suddenly on October 17, 2018 in the Massachusetts General Hospital surrounded by his family. He was 68.
He was born on October 31, 1949 in Middleboro, son of the late Henry E. and Eunice B. (Almeida) Zion and attended Middleboro High School. Henry was a sandblaster and owned and operated his own business. He earned a patent and received numerous professional awards. In addition, he removed snow as a private contractor for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
Henry is survived by his wife, Jillain R. (Alphonse) Zion and her daughter, Pamela, whom he loved as his own. Henry had numerous friends and acquaintances. He will be missed.
Visiting hours on Sunday (October 21, 2018) from 2-5 PM in the O'Neill Funeral Home, 59 Peirce Street (corner of School Street) Middleboro. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Interment will be private.
Henry was a generous supporter of several charities. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul, PO Box 1381, Middleboro, MA 02346.
