George B. Millett, 79, of Middleboro, passed away on November 6th surrounded by family. Born and raised in Middleboro, he spent many years working as a machinist and carpenter. He had a love for motorcycles, animals, classic cars, rock and roll music, dancing, and margaritas. Some of his greatest memories included riding his Harley and camping across the country with his beloved, Janet.
George was the son of the late Margaret Morrison and George Millett, and brother of the late Elizabeth (Betty) Ames and her husband, Robert Ames.
He was the beloved husband of the late Janet Millett (Benoit). The loving father of George L. Millett, Ronald Millett and his wife Carolyn of Middleboro; Kenneth Millett and his companion, Colleen Rudolph of Georgia. George was the stepfather of Lynne Hammond of Georgia, Walter Hammond and his wife Cindy, and their daughters, Shelly and Renee of Taunton. George leaves behind his grandchildren: James and Jeffrey Grace, Bethanny, Desiree, Nolan, and Celia Millett; and Jessica Johnson.
Visiting hours on Sunday (November 10, 2019) from 2-4 PM in the O'Neill Funeral Home, 59 Peirce Street (corner of School Street) Middleboro, followed by a funeral service at 4 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Burial will be at a later date.
