Fern Elizabeth (Tain) Weeden of Framingham, formerly of Middleboro, died peacefully on August 26, 2017 in Brookdale Cushing Park, Framingham.  She was 90.

She was born on October 4, 1926 in Amsterdam, New York, daughter of the late Arthur and Beulah (Gage) Tain.

Fern was the beloved wife of the late Eugene E. Weeden.  Fern and Gene were married on June 15, 1946 in Freehold, New Jersey. Gene born May 21, 1926 in Freehold, New Jersey and died on June 13, 2014 in Plymouth.  Fern spent her first 36 years in New Jersey, residing in Freehold and later Old Tappan.  In addition, she resided in Hendersonville, North Carolina and Middleboro. 

Fern is survived by two sons: Robert Weeden of Cohasset and Ken Weeden of Southborough; her granddaughter:  Hallie Estle of Brentwood, NH; her grandson:  Dean Weeden of Southborough; and her great-grand-daughter:  Madelyn Estle of Brentwood, NH.  

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
