Donald William Porter

Donald William Porter of Middleboro died peacefully on March 15, 2019 following a period of declining health.  He was 82.

He was born on January 5, 1937 to Donald W. and Sylvia (Lardas) Porter in New York City, where he was raised and educated.  Active in his faith, Don was a devoted member of the Knights of Columbus, serving as Past Grand Knight, Faithful Navigator and District Deputy.   

Cherished husband of Margaret A. (DeChellis).  Brother of Yvonne Papacostopoulos and the late Carol Bachmann.  Loving brother-in-law of Marie Rawson, John and Judy DeChellis, Vincent and Donna DeChellis.  Also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews, both in Oklahoma and Massachusetts. 

Visiting hours Tuesday (March 19, 2019) from 4-8 PM.

Funeral from the O'Neill Funeral Home, 59 Peirce Street (corner of School Street) Middleboro, Wednesday (March 20, 2019) at 9 AM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sacred Heart Church at 10 AM.  A reception will follow.
