David Michael Gamble

David Michael Gamble of Middleboro died peacefully on July 28, 2019 in his home.  He was 80.  

He was born on August 12, 1938 in Boston, son of the late Charles W. and Grace E. (Barry) Gamble.  David spent his early years raising and showing cows across New England.  David worked as a grinder for General Dynamics at the Quincy Shipyard until it closed.  Later, he worked as a machinist until his retirement. He enjoyed his backyard farm, from showing doves, geese and chickens at the local fairs to barrel racing in his younger days and sitting with his minis later in life.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 36 years, Gail Alice (Lincoln) Gamble.  He is survived by his sisters: Joan Preble and Kathy Maglinozzi; his son:  David M. Gamble Jr.; his daughter: Michelle Gamble and her partner, Todd Garceau; step-daughter and husband: Debi and Bob Bell; Grandchildren: Kaitlyn Bell, Jacob Thompson, Zane, Zoe, Zed Garceau; several neices and nephews. 

In accordance with his wishes, funeral arrangements are private.
