Carol Vaughan Obituary

Carol A. (Pierce) Vaughan of Middleboro, passed away unexpectedly on February 16, 2024 at the age of 86. Daughter of the late Irving and Alice (Caldwell) Pierce, Carol grew up on the family farm in Bridgewater where she enjoyed being in the garden and tending to the animals. She also devoted her time as a C.N.A. at Forest Manor and The Bridgewater Nursing Home.

Carol treasured her time with "her girls", Kim and Paige, watching reality television, Family Feud and the New England Patriots. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles, shopping trips and yard sales.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Joseph R. Vaughan Sr., her children, Debra, Donald, and Linda, her siblings, David, Paul, Albert, and Sandra. She is survived by her son, Joseph R. Vaughan, Jr. and his wife, Terri of Brownfield, Maine; her granddaughter, Kimberly, and husband Jon LeTourneau of Middleboro, Massachusetts; her siblings, Richard, John, Daniel, Warren, and Ruth; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Also survived by additional relatives and friends.
